1. Who you are contracting with

These Terms govern your use of Silicon Oracle (the "Service"), provided by Silicon Oracle (sole proprietorship) ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

2. The Service

Silicon Oracle is an AI-powered learning companion for computer engineering students, providing curricula, study plans, AI Q&A, and progress tracking.

3. Acceptable use

You must not (a) use the Service unlawfully or to commit fraud or spam, (b) infringe intellectual property, (c) probe, scan, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its security, or (d) attempt to jailbreak or misuse the AI features to produce harmful, illegal, or deceptive content.

4. Your responsibility for AI outputs

The AI may produce inaccurate or incomplete information. Outputs are for educational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. You are responsible for your prompts, for verifying outputs, and for having rights to any content you submit.

5. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the Service, including its software, design, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your chosen plan.

6. Service level

We provide the Service "as is" and do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties are disclaimed.

7. Payment and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. For payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics, please refer to Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.

8. Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated policy violations.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where prohibited by law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
